qualification

QUALIFICATION
———-
A little boy tells his dad:  “dad, I would like to be president someday.”
—–
“son, being president is service to the needs of others, all unto the common good.”
—–
“it is the most difficult job in the world…”
—–
“how does a man or woman become president…”
—–
“first he or she must qualify…”
—–
“first, he or she is called to a room, he or she is then asked, ‘do you think you are president?'”
—–
“if he or she answers yes, the steward asks him or her to ‘come on in…'”
—–
the steward says:  “state your full name, jacket size, and favorite hallucinogen…”
—–
“once this is done, he or she is made president, president in his own little world.”
—–
“you see, son, it is only important in a person’s mind if he is president, not anyone else’s.
a true president of the people sits officially as president in mind, resident in heart, precedent in spirit, temperately, to define, to resolve, to accomplish the common good, of by for the people of a nation.”
—–
“few great men accomplish this task…”
—–
“then, dad, I believe that you should be president.”
