frenetic encumbrance

FRENETIC ENCUMBRANCE
———-
Encumbrance is a burden.
—–
We must not accept, nonchalantly, any encumbrances which burden the soul, such as those in thought, word or deed, which burden the mind, heart and/or spirit.  It is neither wise nor right that we should render unto our brother such burden.
—–
Part of the lure of frenetic intemperance is the anxiety to “make a million dollars,” mainly under a guise to free the mind, heart and/or spirit of encumbrance.  This lure is a temptation, false at its core, and sin.
—–
There is only one way to free the mind, heart and spirit of encumbrance, of what is owed, of what is sin.
—–
With  repentance and conversion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a firm purpose of amendment, we vow to acknowledge the lure of encumbrance for what it is: sin.  Within a firm purpose of amendment, we profess and learn the simple way of repaying our debt, of relieving our enslaved souls of undue burden.
—–
Our ancestors would barter for fair exchange, rarely under encumbrance, unless absolutely necessary.  It is wise to pay one full bucket of water for the good rendered, even for the good simple smile of a brother whose thirst is quenched.
—–
A monastic spirit of work and prayer frees the soul to degrees unimaginable to those trapped in this lie of the worldly.
—–
“Go and sell what you have, give it to the poor, take up thy cross and follow me,”  as Jesus Christ teaches.
—–
Technology is good, when authored in a monastic spirit.  Technology and things of the world become a curse, when sought in frenetic intemperance, or applied in a spirit of frenetic encumbrance.
—–
The Ten Commandments, the Law of Love of Jesus Christ, and truths divinely revealed by His Holy Catholic Church over the ages guard our minds, hearts and spirits against undue encumbrance.
—–
When we steer away from these divine truths, we become indebted, burdened, encumbered, with sin.
—–
God is all good.  Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints!
